This programme management course provides an opportunity to apply the concepts of MSP® to a suitable scenario & develop the ability to adapt & apply the approach to a set of circumstances described in a complex case study. It also prepares participants for the MSP® Advanced Practitioner Examination.
This level aims to confirm that a candidate could lead a programme of transformational change. That is, someone capable of applying the MSP® Guidance in a complex programme within an environment that uses MSP®. |

- Pre-Requisite Learning

All delegates must have successfully passed the MSP® Foundation and Practitioner exams before attending the Advanced Practitioner level.
Course delegates must have some experience in a project and programme management environment. |
- Course Content

| The course follows the standard syllabus issued by the MSP® Examinations Board for the Advanced Practitioner Qualification. |
|
|
There will be particular emphasis on the interconnections of the Governance Themes & Transformational Flow & how the Principles of MSP® can be expressed in different situations. |
|
You will work through a set Case Study during the course as well as with sample examination papers. Examination tips & full preparation for the MSP® Advanced Practitioner Examination will be given. |

This is a 2 day classroom-based course, mainly aimed at Programme Managers, experienced Project Managers, Programme Support Team members & Senior Managers from any discipline & is very detailed with the focus on scenarios.
Exercises will be based on a case study with a similar format to that used in the APM Group Advanced Practitioner Exam. This case study will be used to test the thorough understanding of the application of MSP®.
